How many days can I hold onto the container?
Every size comes with a standard seven-day window. If you need more time, just call or text before your scheduled pickup and we will extend it.
Which materials are allowed in the dumpster?
General household items, furniture, renovation debris, shingles, deck material, flooring and drywall are all fine. We cannot accept paint, fuel, tires, batteries or any appliance containing freon. Yard waste, soil and concrete go in a dedicated heavy-debris container.
Which size do most homeowners go with?
The 20 yard. It can handle a kitchen renovation or a complete house cleanout, and it is the container we drop off most often in Dakota Dunes. If your project calls for less space, we will let you know and bring the 10 or 15 instead.
Where exactly will the container go?
Any spot our truck can safely access — your driveway, a side yard, or the street if you have a permit. Let us know which direction you want the door to face and we will position it accordingly.
Is a permit required in Dakota Dunes?
Not when the container sits on a private driveway. If it needs to go on a public road, Dakota Dunes does require a right-of-way permit — we will point you to the right office to contact.
